The Wonder Clock is a conceptual, interactive art project that counts backwards the biological clock of the artist, Mira Kaddoura. The project includes a first-of-its-kind app that allows other women to count down their own biological clock in real time. Moreover, this project seeks to start a necessary and empowering conversation about child bearing.

We live in societies where women are still to a certain degree defined by their biological clocks. There is so much fear and anxiety around this topic. The Wonder Clock confronts the question “how much time do I have left?” head on, allowing women everywhere to face their fears about this taboo subject, as well as giving them a forum to share their views and feelings with other women.

The Wonder Clock has received coverage both nationally and internationally including The Atlantic Wire, Forbes, The Guardian, Fast Company, Huffington Post, New York Times magazine among others including a 4-page feature in L’Officiel.

CreativeMornings is a free, monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types. Think of it as a local morning mini-conference and inspirational community boost before work. Nothing fancy, just good people and a great talk (not to mention breakfast). We believe that we spend way too much time communicating virtually. It’s time we meet up in real life and have some real conversations.

Registration opens May 13th.
